The Las Cruces Property Tax Calculation page demonstrates how the property tax is calculated for a sample property. Tax rates do vary between in-town and out-of town properties and for properties in Mesilla. Commercial properties are also taxed at a different rate than residential. It allows you to select the locality (in or out) and the property type (residential or non-residential).
